This fake is a House Of Swords produce and not period to the Civil War.  It is made to look similar to a period sword, but the design does not conform to any known example of a Confederate Sword.  The blade has no etching; the CS in the hilt is incorrect; the grip material and wire is incorrect.  and the scabbard mounts are wrong as well.
